Easter came very early to our house. Allyson was up at 540 at our door saying I want to see what the Easter bunny has brought me. So we dragged ourselves out of bed at 545 after we pealed open our eye lids. On Easter it's NEVER too early to start eating candy!
Allyson had a bucket full of goodies sitting on our dining room table.Included in her bucket was the usual fan fare of candy (solid chocolate bunnies (good sized ears of course),lots of jelly beans (they now make lifesaver flavored ones),chocolate eggs and of course chick chicks (5 of those in the bucket, others to be found through out the house)). Also in the bucket was a cute little pink checked bunny, some princess pencils, and a wind up bunny who poops out jelly beans (it's too funny!!). Allyson check out everything and was amazed at the haul she had gotten this year.

Little did she know, the easter bunny was still hiding in our backyard (see picture titled Easter Bunny).
(actually the cats spotted this little guy/girl, hopping around our back yard this morning). It's not your typical cottontail, check out those ears.
THE Easter Bunny
Last night the festivities started with the traditional coloring of the eggs. We had a selection of 10 colors to use. Paas really has gone overboard with their coloring kits now. I still like the basic kits (they had tye die, camouflage, and some other weird ones too). Dad, Keith tried to make you a Frank Lloyd Wright egg,but the FLLW didn't come out too well. You get the idea though.

The last pictures are of the traditional placing of the chick chicks around the house, just a few places they could be found. Allyson also found one on her toothbrush.
